I hope you all know who Anne Shirley is. I hope you count her as a kindred spirit!  L.M. Montgomery created Anne back at the turn of the last century and her staying power is remarkable.  In fact, The Anne Of Green Gables series turns 100 this year! Amazing.  With that, a new book has arrived on our shelves Before Green Gables by Budge Wilson.  It tells the story of Anne’s life before she shows up on the pages of Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables series. Not only that, but the books have been made into a wonderful made for TV series that remain very true to the spirit of the original books.
