A Bible Performance

Something new that we received from our trip to the PLA convention was the complete bible on CD.  This is no ordinary Bible on CD though.  We have several copies of the Bible on CD but this one is special.  It’s called the Bible Experience, the complete Bible in the NIV translation performed by well known ‘voices’.  Angela Bassett, Cuba Gooding, Samuel L. Jackson, Cicely Tyson, Denzel Washington, Forest Whitaker, LEvar Burton, Ruby Dee…and the list of well known names goes on.  This is more than just a simple reading of bible text.  It is a complete performance of the bible including  music, sound and a single video DVD. There are 79 Cds in all and we have kept them all together so you can check the whole set out for a 2 month period.  What a great way to enhance your bible reading or even just to get started in some of the more difficult reading sections of the bible.  Enjoy!
